In Belarus, a land-locked country in Eastern Europe, friends gathered to celebrate the bicentenary of the birth of Bahá’u’lláh in homes and halls across the country. At the Press Club in the capital of Minsk, 80 participants celebrated with music, a special performance by the children as well as a screening of the film, Light to the World.
Celebrations in Gomel, Vitebsk and Zhodzina were characterized by a warm atmosphere of fellowship as friends shared stories and music to mark the occasion.
