Celebrations of the bicentenary of the birth of Bahá’u’lláh in Costa Rica were marked by a creative and joyful spirit. In Talamanca, when the Bahá’í community realized their local centre was too small to hold the 500 guests expected to attend bicentenary celebrations, they decided to build a new structure and to beautify the surrounding grounds with special gardens.
Throughout the country, bicentenary festivities both large and small were commemorated with joy, love, prayers, and friendship.
The indigenous community of Talamanca built a new structure for the bicentenary celebrations.
