In Ghana, the occasion of the bicentenary of the birth of Bahá’u’lláh brought together many throughout the country in a spirit of celebration. Commemorative gatherings both big and small were held in villages, cities, and towns with a joyful air of music, dance, and devotions.

For the occasion of the bicentenary, the National Spiritual Assembly of Ghana was invited to meet with the Vice President of the country. During the meeting, he commented that he knows the Bahá'ís have a sincere dedication to the welfare of humanity and highlighted the commitment of the Bahá'ís to unity and peace.
