Hundreds of people were brought together in over thirty celebrations of the bicentenary of the birth of Bahá’u’lláh throughout Kuwait. The festivities ranged from small gatherings in family homes, where hospitality was offered to friends and neighbours, to large occasions where many shared food, music, and prayers in honour of Bahá’u’lláh.
"I can tell when others have good intentions and are genuine, and I see in the Bahá’í Faith goodness and pure motive," said a guest at one of the celebrations, who was moved to compose a song for the occasion. "After all, the divine message of God is based on such love and peace. When I felt the purity of motive and nobility of Bahá’u’lláh, and realized how He is indeed a Messenger of Peace, I wanted to dedicate a song to Him. It is my contribution to peace in the world and to His Message."
This song about peace and unity has a rhythm based on traditional folk music from the region.
