


In the West African country of Nigeria, celebrations of the bicentenary of the birth of Bahá’u’lláh were a widespread and vibrant affair. Throughout the nation, almost 4,000 people came together to honour the extraordinary life and teachings of Bahá’u’lláh. The occasion was recognized by government leaders, who addressed good wishes to the Bahá’í community during the bicentenary. In some cases, delegations from the Bahá’í community met with leaders and representatives in their localities.
