In October 2017, celebrations marking the bicentenary of the birth of Bahá’u’lláh were widespread across Trinidad and Tobago, where the roots of the Bahá’í Faith date back to the 1920s.
On 19 October Bahá’í representatives met with the President of Trinidad and Tobago, Anthony Thomas Aquinas Carmona, who signed and presented a message to the Bahá'í community.
