Reflecting on Bahá'u'lláh's teachings for humanity today, Bahá'ís in the Gulf state of the United Arab Emirates celebrated the bicentenary throughout the country. The film Light to the World, was screened at celebrations and sparked rich discussions among guests about service to their society.
Inspired by the bicentenary, a group of children in Dubai gathered to create this mixed media painting. An excerpt from the Writings of Bahá’u’lláh that reads, “all were made for harmony and union” written in Arabic calligraphy, completes the piece.
